I’m not sure how I feel about this balm because it’s quite stringy from the tackiness? I also need to use a lot as well.

Favorite!

Love this balm. It is excellent with all sorts of lashes, short, long, downward, straight, etc.. It is very easy to work with if you use a brush but I would say you have layer a bit on so that some of the lashes don't start popping off during or after step one. Since it is a balm it does take the lashes a little longer to process so keep that in mind. 10/10 I will definitely buy again!
