Hello, my name is Megs. I’m the owner of The Eyebrow Goddess and the host of the Browducation Podcast. My studio is located in Northern California, and I’ve been an esthetician for almost 10 years now. I specialize in brows and, more specifically, hand-tied brow threading. Threading has always been my favorite form of hair removal, and when I began teaching it to others, I discovered a passion for educating. Watching other beauty professionals blossom and grow is magical, and I feel honored to help.
Threading is my favorite form of hair removal, and I love watching it become more available to clients. As the skincare industry continues to boom, clients are using more products and sticking to their routines. However, when it comes to hair removal, we know not all skincare products mesh well with certain modalities. Since threading only removes the hairs and not the skin—living or dead—it’s a skill set every hair removal artist should have. Early in my career, I was very concerned with skin lifting, irritation, or any of the mishaps that can happen with waxing. Threading was my saving grace; it allowed me to create gorgeous results without the stress or fear. I want to help other artists learn this incredible treatment and empower them to let go of those fears too.
We know that some clients aren’t even sure what an exfoliant is and don’t always listen to directions. Unfortunately, that’s when issues can arise. Instead of having to send a client home when they can’t wax or sugar, you can thread. It can be the perfect skill to whip out whenever it's needed or the service you offer to set yourself apart from other brow artists in your local area. My method of threading gives you full control to create stunning brows, protect your clients' skin, and do so with the highest sanitation standards. But, as an educator who’s also been a student time and again over my decade in the industry, I made sure to build a course that covers everything you need for success—not just the technique, but also brow shaping, client care, and tips for proper ergonomics.
My style of education isn’t one-and-done; I’m here to build a community and provide support for as long as you need it. My course isn’t designed to just be a quick run-through and then send you out to figure it out for yourself. I offer mentorship, aid, and lifetime access. As anyone knows, the best expert is a lifetime learner. As I continue to grow and learn, so will the course. My course is something that beginners and experts alike can understand and learn from. It’s designed to work for every type of learner, providing visual aids, text breakdowns, and illustrations. The videos are broken down into ten chapters that correlate to the same ten chapters in the downloadable manual included. The manual is packed with information to help as you practice and serves as an easy way to refresh whenever you need it. I’m excited to watch you learn, grow, and succeed! My promise is to be there for you through any struggle or concern, as well as every accomplishment and win.
