On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Christabelle, the proud owner of Chateau De Belle (@_chateaudebelle), where we chatted about starting a business, going viral, educating, touring, and so much more! Christabelle's love affair with beauty began in her teens. She was inspired by her mother's home salon, where she first witnessed the joy and confidence beauty treatments brought to clients. At just sixteen, Christabelle dove into beauty therapy studies while kickstarting her career. After gaining invaluable experience under others' tutelage, she took a leap of faith, transforming a humble spare bedroom into the beginnings of Chateau De Belle. Armed with determination and a $350 startup fund, her business quickly blossomed.
Christabelle first caught our attention at Bella Beauty with her bold use of colour and deluxe services showcased in her videos. She quickly coined her signature style as 'Brows but Make It Art,' a phrase that would later inspire her vibrant product lines. Her online charm has attracted an impressive following of over 156,000 on Instagram, thanks to her viral videos and candid live sessions.
Christabelle's followers soon sought to emulate her distinctive style, prompting her to launch in-person and online masterclasses. Today, she shares her wealth of knowledge and expertise with a global audience of over 1000 students. Her teaching adventures have spanned continents, from vibrant cities in America to exciting upcoming plans in the UK.
